Here you have some pictures of Alexa and Ashleys first day back in school. The summer went by all too fast and the weather here is still too hot to believe that I have to start packing lunches again. Alexa had her first day in public school which was a little overwhelming because she went from a very small private school to an overcrowded trailor utilized 12 second grade facility. She is adjusting well and still making strides in the classroom. Ashley was a different story. She went her first day with no tears had a great time the teacher said she was an absolute gem and when we got in the car and I asked her about her day she said it was fine but she does not need to go back. So many tearfilled tuesdays and thursdays i stay sobbing in the parking lot because she absolutely does not want to leave me only to pull up and the teacher grab her and of she goes without a peep. So I have concluded that carpool is the way to go. just drop off and drive on... they get over it.
